Six fire engines and an aerial ladder platform have been called to a caravan fire which has spread to three properties on Spring Mews, Whittle-le-Woods. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using two jets and three hose reels to extinguish the fire. A number of neighboring properties have been evacuated due to the smoke plume and we are advising those people to close their windows and doors if the smoke is affecting their property.
