At 02:25 two fire engines from Bamber Bridge were mobilised to a fire involving a furnace in an industrial property on Centurion Way, Farington, Leyland. Firefihgters used one hose reel, two breathing apparatus and one positive ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately two hours and forty five minutes.
