Fire crews from Penwortham and Bamber Bridge attended a kitchen fire at a domestic property on Collins Road, North Bamber Bridge. Two firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for approximately one hour and twenty five minutes. There were several casualties at the scene who were handed over to the care of ambulance crews for precautionary checks for smoke inhalation.
