Firefighters fromBlackburn were called to reports of a fire at a domestic property on Oban Drive, Blackburn. When crews arrived they found the fire involved a chip pan in the kitchen of the property. They extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ventilation unit. There were two casualties at the incident who were treated for the effects of smoke inhalation prior to the arrival of paramedics at the scene. Firefighters were in attendance approximately 1 hour.
