Fire crews from Bispham and two crews from Blackpool were called to a property on Toronto Avenue, Blackpool where they found a fire involving a kitchen. Two firefighters used breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ventilation unit to bring the fire under control. There was one casualty reported who was suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation. They were left in the care of ambulance personnel at the scene.
