Two fire engines from Lancaster and one from Morecambe attended a fire involving a kitchen in a third storey flat on Lonsdale South Avenue, Lancaster at 13:27. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported.
