Two fire engines from Morecambe were called to a kitchen fire on Thornton Road, Morecambe. When firefighters arrived at the scene they found that a cooker hood was on fire and they used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported.
