One fire engine from Blackburn and one from Hyndburn attended a kitchen fire at a house on Hawthorn Avenue, Oswaldtwistle at 10:17. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. One person was treated for smoke inhalation by paramedics.
