Four fire engines from Preston, Penwortham and Bamber Bridge along with the aerial ladder platform from Blackpool attended a kitchen fire on Plover Street, Preston. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. Four casualties were assessed from smoke inhalation by ambulance crews. Crews were in attendance for two hours and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
