At 22:44 on 25 April, two fire engines from Bolton-le-Sands and Carnforth attended a lodge fire on Borwick Lane, Warton. Firefighters used one hose reel jet, small tools, battery-operated tools, a thermal imaging camera, and scene lighting to extinguish the fire. Two casualties were placed in the care of North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) paramedics. Crews were in attendance for three hours. A fire investigation is now underway.
