At 02:45 on 27th August, five fire engines from Garstang, Preston, Fulwood, and Bamber Bridge attended an outbuilding fire on Eidsforth Lane, Barnacre-with-Bonds. Firefighters used two hose reels, farm machinery, and a tele handler to extinguish the fire. They then damped down the affected areas. No injuries were reported. Crews remained at the scene for three hours and fifty minutes.
