Fire crews from Bamber Bridge and Chorley attended a fire which involved a washing machine in a detached garage of a domestic property. The building was well alight when crews arrived at the scene and firefighters extinguished the fire using a hosereel, ventialtion unit and breathing apparatus. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and twenty minutes. There were no casualties.
