Fire crews from Chorley were called to reports of a fire at a domestic property on Buckshaw Avenue, Buckshaw Village. On arrival they found the fire involved a shed in a garden which was partially alight. Crews extinguished the fire using a hose reel and there was some fire damage to both the shed and some fencing. A thermal imaging camera was also in use. Firefighters were at the scene approximately 30 minutes.
