At 14:35 three fire engines from Burnley and Nelson attended a fire in the outbuilding of a domestic property on Ighton Road, Burnley. Crews used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel.
There is currently a road closure in place whilst emergency services deal with the incident.
Tragically there was one male fatality at this incident and we are working with Lancashire Police into the cause of the fire.
