Fire engines from Blackburn and Darwen were called to reports of an outbuilding fire at a property on Kingsway, Lower Darwen. On arrival crews found the fire involved a garage which was also affecting an adjacent garage and was also at risk of spreading to other outbuildings nearby. Two firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reels and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance approximately approximately three hours and twenty five minutes.
