At 05:18 two fire engines from Fleetwood were called to reports of a fire on Whinfield Avenue, Fleetwood. On arrival crews discovered a fire involving a large quantity of sawdust and fencing which had caused heat damage to an adjacent outbuilding. Crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for two hours.
