At 08:29 two fire engines from Rawtenstall attended a fire on Dorset Drive, Haslingden, Rossendale where a wooden shed was well alight. Crews used one hose reel to extinguish the fire and the shed was completely destroyed by fire. Fire crews were engaged for thirty minutes.
