At 16:47 two fire engines from Lancaster and Morecambe attended a domestic building fire on Seymour Avenue, Heysham. The fire involved a shed which had spread to an adjacent bungalow. firefighters used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. They were at the scene for one hour and thirty minutes.
