Firefighters from Bamber Bridge, Penwortham and Tarleton were called to reports of fire at a domestic property on Marsh Lane. On arrival they found the fire involved a detached garage. Crews used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one jet to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance approximately one hour and thirty minutes. An investigation is due to take place as soon as possible in the morning.
