At 14:11 four fire engines from Ormskirk, Tarleton and Southport attended a fire at multiple shed outbuildings on Highsands Avenue, Rufford. Crews used six breathing apparatus, two jets and five hose reel jets. The police were in attendance for crowd control.
At 15:23 the fire in four of the sheds has been extinguished and damping down in progress
At 16:15 the incident was reduced to two fire engines
