At 15:33 three fire engines from Skelmersdale and Ormskirk attended a fire on Lime Grove, Skelmersdale. There was an electric substation which was on fire which had spread to a nearby domestic property, a car and fencing. Crews used two hose reel, two step ladders and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for forty five minutes and Electricity North West were called to assist.
