At 11:09 two fire engines from Hornby and Morecambe attended an outbuilding fire on Bottomdale Road, Slyne. The fire involved a derelict portable cabin. Crews used two hose reels, one thermal imaging camera, sand, a spade and lance to bring the fire under control. Firefighters were at the incident for one hour and fifteen minutes.
