Firefighters from Great Harwood received reports of a domestic garage on fire which was attached to a house on Whittam Road, Whalley. On arrival crews requested three additional fire engines (Clitheroe, Blackburn). Crews isolated the utilities at the scene and extinguished the fire using four breathing apparatus, four hose reels and a triple extension ladder. Firefighters are still in attendance however only one fire engine remains to assist with fire investigations. There were no casualties reported.
