Three fire engines and crews, from Blackpool, Bispham and Fleetwood, responded to a fire in a first floor flat. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus rescued a man, who was handed into the care of paramedics. The fire was extinguished with a hosereel jet. The cause of the fire is to be established.
