’Persons reported’ meaning that the 999 call reported that someone may be trapped inside the house on fire. In fact no-one was when firefighters from Chorley and Bamber Bridge had searched the house, extinguishing a fire in the bedroom with a hosereel jet. There were no casualties and the cause of the fire is to be established.
