At 05:45 two fire engines from Leyland and Bamber Bridge went to reports of a property fire on Fox Lane, Leyland. On arrival firefighters found smoke issue in from a porch of a domestic property with the fire within the wall plate of a lean to roof. The used one hose reel and triple extension ladder and were at the scene for forty minutes.
