At 12.38hrs on May 1st 2020, firefighters were called to Edgar Street, Accrington to reports of a parrot trapped under woodwork in a kitchen. On arrival the crew from Hyndburn discovered the bird stuck under a kitchen unit. Firefighters released the parrot using small tools in a rescue operation that took approximately 10 minutes.
