A road traffic collision between a van and a tanker lorry carrying heating oil resulted in three casualties and a spillage of the oil when the tanker flipped on its side. Fire engines and crews from Clitheroe, Great Harwood, Burnley and Preston were assigned to the incident and the clean-up. There was no fire.
