Two fire engines and crews from Hyndburn were assigned to the aftermath of a 3-car collision on Victoria St Accrington which had left a woman trapped and injured in one of the vehicles. Firefighters used hydraulic equipment to rescue the casualty, who was taken to hospital by ambulance.
