At 21:35 two fire engines from Skelmersdale and Ormskirk attended Long Lane in Aughton whereby a car was on its roof. One casualty was released from the vehicle by fire service personnel who used holmatro equipment and a long board before they were placed into the hands of ambulance crews. Fire crews were in attendance for approximately forty five minutes.
