Two fire engines from Ormskirk and Skelmersdale attended a road traffic collision involving a car and a bicycle on Bold Lane in Aughton, Ormskirk. Firefighters used stabilisation and cutting equipment to rescue one casualty, who very sadly was pronounced dead at the scene.
