At 8:19pm on 13th February, two fire engines from Burnley and Nelson attended an incident on Halifax Road, Brierfield. The road traffic collision involved one vehicle and one male casualty. Firefighters used airbags, holmatro equipment and lighting to extricate the casualty form the vehicle. Crews were at the scene for twenty five minutes.
