At 21:37 on 30 April, two fire engines from Hornby and Milnthorpe (of Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service) attended a road traffic collision on Biggins Lane, Whittington, Carnforth. The incident involved one vehicle. Two casualties were released from their vehicle before being placed in the care of North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) paramedics. Firefighters used Holmatro cutting equipment at this incident. They were in attendance for an hour.
