At 13:18 two fire engines from Clitheroe and the major rescue unit from Preston attended a road traffic collision between two heavy goods vehicles on Pimlico Link Road/A59 Worston, Clitheroe. Firefighters used holmatro cutting equipment and a mobile scaffold to rescue one casualty from the vehicle who was treated at the scene by North West Ambulance Service. Crews were at the scene for one hour and thirty minutes.
