At 00:42 on 2nd December, two fire engines from Barnoldswick and Earby attended a road traffic collision on Settle Road, Clitheroe. The incident involved one vehicle and left two casualties trapped inside. Firefighters extricated both casualties from the vehicle and provided first aid before they were placed in the care of ambulance personnel. Crews were in attendance for one and a half hours.
