At 21:18 two fire engines from Garstang and Clitheroe attended a road traffic collision involving one vehicle in Dunsop Bridge. One vehicle had come off the roadway into a ditch with one person trapped. Firefighters used halmatro cutters, spreaders, stabilising struts, dewalt saw, hand tools and lighting to extricate on casualty from the vehicle. The casualty was transferred to hospital by NWAS. Firefighters were in attendance for approximately two hours.
