At 13:52 on the 6th December 2022, two fire engines from Chorley and Leyland attended a road traffic collision on Wigan Road, Euxton. The incident involved one vehicle. Firefighters worked to make the scene safe and extricated one casualty from the vehicle who was conveyed to hospital by North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for thirty minutes.
