At 21:36 on 4th November, two fire engines from Nelson attended a road traffic collision on Barrowford Road in Fence, Burnley. The collision involved three vehicles. Fire crews used stabilisation equipment to extricate one casualty from their vehicle before the individual was conveyed to hospital by North West Ambulance Service. Firefighters then worked make the scene safe. They were in attendance for approximately one hour.
