At 01:19 on 23rd October, two fire engines from Haslingden and Rawtenstall attended a road traffic collision on Helmshore Road, Haslingden, Rossendale. The incident involved one vehicle. Two casualties were treated by firefighters before being placed in the care of North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) paramedics. Firefighters used absorbent pads and a brush at the incident. They were in attendance for approximately fifty-five minutes.
