Two fire crews from Morecambe were called to a road traffic collision on Oxcliffe Road, Heaton with Oxcliffe involving one vehicle and a cyclist.Firefighters assisted paramedics at the scene with one casualty who it was suspected may have had spinal injuries. Crews used a longboard to transfer the casualty to the ambulance where they were then taken to hospital. Firefighters were in attendance approximately twenty five minutes.
