Three fire crews from Lancaster and Bolton le Sands helped at a road traffic collision on Heysham Road in Heysham. The incident involved two vehicles and two trapped casualties. Crews assisted in releasing the casualties using holmatro tools and a long board. The casualties were handed over to the care of ambulance crews at the scene and firefighters were in attendance around one hour.
