Three fire engines from Wesham, Lytham and South Shore attended a road traffic collision involving one car that had collided with a pedestrian on Station Road in Kirkham. Firefighters used cutting and stabilising equipment to extricate three casualties from the vehicle. Five casualties were treated by ambulance crews. One person tragically died and our thoughts are with their family at this terribly sad time.
Lancashire Constabulary is appealing to anyone who may have CCTV in the area or any dashcam footage which may assist to contact them. Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting log number 1535 of July 4th. Further details here.
