At 18:50hrs, two fire crews from Lancaster and Morecambe responded to a road traffic collision on Bridge Road. The incident involved a car which had collided through a fence and one casualty. Firefighters used a hose reel, tool kit and first aid kit to treat the casualty and make the scene safe. Paramedics then took over the care for the casualty. Firefighters were in attendance around thirty minutes.
