Fire crews from Nelson and Burnley were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car on its side and a possible trapped casualty on Beaufort Street, Nelson. When crews arrived at the scene they found the incident involve one vehicle on its side and that someone was indeed trapped inside. They were able to quickly release the casualty and hand them over to the care of paramedics at the scene. Crews were in attendance approximately 35 minutes.
