At 07:55 two fire engines from Hyndburn were mobilised to a road traffic collision involving three vehicles on Broadfield, Oswaldtwistle. One casualty was extricated from one of the vehicles by firefighters using stabilisation equipment and a hearth kit and conveyed to hospital. A further casualty was treated at the scene by paramedics. Firefighters were in attendance for approximately forty five minutes.
