At 13:41 on 31st May 2022, two fire engines from Penwortham attended a road traffic collision on Hawksbury Drive, Penwortham. The incident involved two vehicles. Firefighters worked to make the scene safe and administered first aid to one casualty who was later conveyed to hospital by North West Ambulance Service. Firefighters were in attendance for approximately thirty minutes.
