Fire crews from Tarleton and Wesham were called to a road traffic collision on Tag Lane, Preston where it was reported there was a trapped casualty in the vehicle. On arrival firefighters found the incident involved one vehicle and one trapped casualty. Firefighters released the casualty using holmatro cutting equipment along with some lighting equipment. The casualty was then handed over to the care of paramedics at the scene. There was a second casualty also reported who attended hospital via ambulance for a precautionary check. Firefighters were in attendance approximately seventy minutes.
