Fire crews from Fulwood and Preston were called to a road traffic collision on Sharoe Green Lane, Fulwood. The incident involved a car and a van and there was one casualty trapped. Fire crews assisted in releasing the casualty from the vehicle before handing them over to the care of ambulance crews at the scene. They were then transported to hospital for treatment. Firefighters made the scene safe and were in attendance approximately twenty minutes.
