At 17:28 on 06 March, three fire engines from Bacup and Rawtenstall attended a road traffic collision on Dobbin Lane, Rawtenstall. The incident involved two vehicles. Firefighters released one casualty from their vehicle using Holmatro equipment, Milwaukee tools, and a longboard. The individual was then conveyed to the hospital by ambulance. Crews were in attendance for an hour.
