Fire crews from Burnley and Padiham were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Whalley Road, Sabden. When they arrived they sound the incident involved one car which had collided with a lamppost and wall. They assisted one casualty at the scene until the arrival of paramedics and made the scene safe. They were in attendance approximately two hours and forty minutes. The casualty was given a precautionary check by paramedics but did not require hospital treatment.
